ANNUAL MONROE ARTISTS EXHIBIT/SHOW 2010

APRIL 1st thru APRIL 15th, 2010

Normally our Show runs the entire month of April - but due to some booking issues with the Library the Show will only be for two (2) weeks this year.

Entries will be accepted from any artist in the region on March 31st from 1pm until 6pm at the Monroe County Library Conference Room! 

Up to 5 pieces may be entered this year in any of the following mediums:  Oil Painting, Acrylic Painting, Watercolor Painting, Sculpture, Jewelry, Ceramics, Fabric & Fiber Arts, Photography, Drawings, Batik, Mixed Media & Collage.  (Portraits will be judged separately)

PLEASE HAVE ALL ART PROPERY FRAMED AND READY TO HANG!

Entry Fee:  $5.00 per piece being entered.  If you are a member of Monroe Artists, or if you wish to become a member there is a $1.00 discount per entry!

Monetary Awards will be presented this year, by the judges, at the Reception on Saturday, April 3rd, at 10:30AM. 

The Photography will be judged separately this year by professional photographer Marths Dougherty of Fairmont, WV. 

All remaining items will be judged by Loran Conley, artist & Studio owner from Vienna, WV.   www.windinfeathers.com 

YOUTH ages 12 and up may enter and will be judged separately!

Information about our upcoming Youth & Adult Summer Arts Camp, to be held June 21-25, 2010, will be available. 

Monroe Artists is a part of Monroe Arts Council, a non-profit organization.  Donations are needed and much appreciated!  Come ask how you can be a part of this liverly organization!
